Definition:
METeOR: The identifier for the establishment in which episode or event occurred. Each separately administered health care establishment to have a unique identifier at the national level.
Descriptions:
A unique identifier of the hospital where a birth took place; miscarriage was treated or termination of pregnancy was carried out. NSW, WA: Each hospital facility has a unique code allocated by the Health Department. TAS: The code of the hospital/place of birth. ANZNN: Name of the Hospital of baby's birth (text)
All S/Ts are able to identify the hospital in which the birth took place using the S/T admitted patient data collection. NSW RCA only collects this item for infant notifications.
