QLD: Puerperium complications - Medical and obstetric complications of the mother occurring during the postnatal period up to the time of separation of care. Medical and obstetric complication of the puerperal period may cause maternal morbidity, and occasionally death, and may be an important factor in prolonging the duration of hospitalisation after childbirth. QLD collect wound infection and dehiscence disruption of wound (no specific definition available). SA: A wound infection of caesarean or episiotomy wound or vaginal or perineal tear.
