Definitions: S/T Perinatal Data Collections: NSW: If mother referred from another hospital during pregnancy or labour, specify hospital. If mother referred from another hospital during pregnancy or labour, specify whether the referral occurred before or after the onset of labour. VIC: If intended and actual place of birth differ from each other, circle whether the change occurred before the onset of labour or during labour. QLD: Indicates whether the mother has been transferred from another hospital. This includes transfers from home births to hospital, from birthing centre to acute care area. It is specified whether the change occurred prior to or during labour.
VIC provides a choice of reasons for change from intended to actual place of birth. VIC and QLD provide a free text field to specify the reason that the change occurred. NSW and QLD provide a free text field to specify the hospital that the transfer was from. NSW, VIC and QLD collect the timing of the change in relation to labour onset.
