Definitions:
METeOR: Date on which an admitted patient completes an episode of care. S/T Perinatal Data Collections: NSW: Discharge is the separation of a baby from the hospital of birth either directly or on an early discharge program. VIC: When the baby leaves the hospital premises to go home. SA: The final date of discharge can be filled in by a hospital other than the birth hospital if the baby is transferred. TAS: The baby was discharged from the hospital where the delivery, or immediate postnatal care took place.
Descriptions:
QLD: The day, month and year the baby was discharged, transferred or died using all boxes. If the baby is remaining in after 28 days tick the ‘Remaining in’ box and provide the discharge date when available.
