Descriptions:
S/T Perinatal Data Collections: QLD: Any neonatal treatment given up to the time of discharge or when the baby has reached 28 days of age. The values that are collected are: medications used for neonatal abstinence syndrome (free text for the drug name), intravenous or intramuscular antibiotics, mechanical ventilation, blood glucose monitoring, no treatment, oxygen for greater than 4 hours, phototherapy, IV fluids and nasogastric feeding, CPAP and other, with room to specify. SA: There is no definition specified in the guideline. The values collected include: no treatment, oxygen for greater than 4 hours, phototherapy, IV fluids and nasogastric feeding. TAS PMC: What antibiotics were given? QLD PMC: Details of diagnoses, investigations, procedures, mechanical ventilation and drugs given for further treatment.
