Definitions:
METeOR: The total number of previous pregnancies of a female resulting in stillbirth (at least 20 weeks' gestational age or 400 g birthweight).
S/T Perinatal Data Collections:
VIC: The birth of an infant of at least 20 weeks gestation or if gestation unknown weighing at least 400 grams, which shows no sign of life after birth. QLD: A fetal death prior to the complete expulsion or extraction from its mother of a product or conception of 20 or more completed weeks of gestation and/or of 400 grams or more birthweight; the death is indicated by the fact that after such separation the foetus does not breathe or show any other evidence of life, such as beating of the heart, pulsation of the umbilical cord, or definite movement of voluntary muscles. SA: This refers to any stillborn baby or late fetal death of 20 weeks gestation or 400g birthweight or more born to this mother. TAS: A fetal death prior to the complete expulsion or extraction from its mother of a product of conception of 20 or more completed weeks gestation or 400grams or more birth weight; the death is indicated by the fact that after such separation the fetus does not breathe or show any other evidence of life, such as beating of the heart, pulsation of the umbilical cord, or definite movement of the voluntary muscles. Perinatal Data Collections: ACT: Refers to death prior to the birth of a baby of 20 completed weeks gestation or at least 400 grams in birth weight who did not, at any time after birth, breathe or show any evidence of life such as a heartbeat. NT: A fetal death prior to the complete expulsion or extraction from its mother of a product of conception of 20 or more completed weeks gestation or 400grams or more birth weight; the death is indicated by the fact that after such separation the fetus does not breathe or show any other evidence of life, such as beating of the heart, pulsation of the umbilical cord, or definite movement of the voluntary muscles. WA: Includes all babies (born to this woman) of 400 grams or more birthweight and/or 20 weeks or more gestation, which showed no sign of life at birth. ACT PMC: Stillbirths must be at least 20 weeks gestation or at least 400g birth weight.

The definition of fetal death/stillbirth for each S/T include the same important elements. QLD PMC also collect complications for each previous pregnancy. Births and Deaths Registration Collections collect this item only for stillbirths (Births Register) and neonatal deaths (Deaths Register). QLD PDC collect the number of previous pregnancies not babies with different outcomes including stillbirths.
