Definitions:
METeOR: The total number of previous pregnancies of a female resulting in ectopic pregnancy.
S/T Perinatal Data Collections:
VIC: The implantation of the fertilised ovum outside the uterus, usually in the fallopian tube, rarely in the ovary or abdominal cavity. This covers the period from conception to 8-10 weeks gestation. After this time the embryo becomes a fetus. SA: Fertilised ovum implanted outside the uterus, usually in the fallopian tubes. TAS: Defined as any pregnancy occurring outside the uterus terminating at less than 20 weeks. OTHER S/Ts: No definition specified.
Varying definitions. QLD PDC collect in conjunction with abortions/miscarriages/ectopic/ hydatiform mole but not exclusively ectopic.
