VIC PDC: Obstetrician, Midwife, GP, None NT PDC: Values for this field describe the individual maternity services as well as some care types eg Private Obstetrician, Hospital Antenatal Clinic, Darwin Midwives Group Practice etc. VIC PMC: The discipline of the clinician who provided most occasions of antenatal care; Obstetrician, Midwife, GP, None, Other.

NT PDC can categorise the Lead Antenatal Care Provider into Medical, Midwifery, Shared care, Community health care types. NT perinatal IT collection contains this item for public hospitals only. In 2012 non public hospital data will also be captured onto the data base collection. NT is currently reviewing care groups. it is expected that remote community health centre ( Midwives clinic) and no antenatal care will also be captured
